Fruit boxes
Hop into one of the Fruit Crates, pedal your way through the orchard and discover how fruit grows. The Fruit Track combines fun and learning in a natural way: as you pedal and steer your own cart, you'll learn more about the fruit grown at Adventure Farm Molenwaard. This attraction is a favourite with both younger and older children, as everyone gets to help keep the cart moving.
Pedal through the orchard
Climb into a Fruit Crate and pedal your way along the track. A complete ride takes around 3 minutes and is suitable for visitors of all ages. Along the way, you'll cycle through the orchard and see up close what a real fruit orchard looks like, complete with the scent of blossom and ripe fruit filling the air during the growing season. Because you power the cart yourself, it feels like a real adventure rather than an ordinary ride.
Learn how fruit grows
During your ride through the orchard, you'll discover step by step how apples and other fruits grow, from blossom to ripe fruit. As you pedal and steer between the fruit trees, you'll see for yourself what an orchard looks like and everything that happens before an apple or pear is ready to be picked. It's a fun ride combined with a hands-on nature lesson – exactly what makes Adventure Farm Molenwaard so special. In autumn, when the orchard is full of ripe fruit, the Fruit Track is an especially wonderful experience for all your senses.
