THE BIG FARM LIGHTS FESTIVAL
This winter, things are set to be extra cosy at Adventure Farm Molenwaard. As the sun goes down, the farm will be transformed for the first time into a magical winter spectacle during The Big Farm Lights Festival in December, January and February.
Set off with a torch and the special activity booklet, and admire the light figures of Fien & Teun, Stip the Pony, Mike & Molly and the other animal friends. Find them all and go home with a real Winter Farm Diploma!
DISCOVER THE FARM IN THE DARK
A visit to the farm is just that little bit different in the evening. During the Lights Festival, the attractions and catering facilities at Adventure Farm Molenwaard remain open untill 19:30 and are beautifully illuminated. Furthermore, Fien and Teun can’t wait to meet everyone and show off their special winter outfits, whilst you’ll enjoy various interactive shows where you’ll learn all about life on the farm. There are also two new shows especially for the Lights Festival: an impressive blacklight show and a classic shadow play.
DELICIOUS TREATS DURING THE LIGHTS FESTIVAL
No fun at the farm is complete without a tasty snack or drink. Pop into Pancake Restaurant De Fruitschuur, where you simply must try the classic Fien & Teun pancake, or head to Eatery Molenzicht and enjoy the Molenwaard stars as they visit your table. Have you seen all the light figures and fancy a bit of a rest after all that exploring and playing? Then warm up with a mug of hot chocolate.

The Big Farm Lights Festival takes place over 25 selected evenings, from 11 December 2026 to 13 February 2027. You can visit the Lights Festival with a standard day ticket (extended opening hours from 10.00 to 19.30) or with a special event ticket for entry from 15.30.
